TRUE FRIENDSHIP
I wanted to tell you all about a star in my life. She used to be a pharmacy manager like me and one day out of the blue coming from a completely different region having no interaction with her at all she called my store and offered me some business via flu jabs.
During the flu season the company gets very target associated so it was a massive help.
The Abhi back then was a very happy chappy , positive go lucky individual and I had it in me to show kindness and appreciation to anyone and especially to anyone who gives me that type of random act of kindness. So I went to the store because it wasn’t far from where I live and decided to buy the lady a bunch of flowers as a thank you.
This lady was SICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK , and I met a really genuine person that day.
Do we chat every day ,,, no
Do we catch up on a regular basis,,, hardly (She’s a wife with two kids, mums don’t half have it the worst.)
But guess what she helped me develop some side income because when she quit being a pharmacy manager and started to work for the CCG as an independent prescriber.
She again rings me out of the blue and asked me to take a risk and cancel my annual review.
Usually I wouldn’t ever consider such a thing, but I did and turned up to a workshop where if I attended I would become an accredited speaker for “my health” (a company that works for the NHS) on diabetes!!!
It has so far raised me £500 pound of side hustle income!!!!!!! I thank her in my head every time one of those shifts pops up for me!!!
That is what true friendship is about !
