HOT DAMN!!!!!!

Today marks a truly historic event! Today I submitted my instruction to get a significant chunk of my shares in my SAYE scheme to be bought at the option price.

14140 shares are going to be bought at £1.50 and if the share price at any time after maturity is higher than £1.50, I make a profit!!!!

You know me though I ain’t one to miss a trick so I did some digging and found out that I can transfer all these shares into my Stocks and Shares ISA at no charge!!!!!!!!

This does two things for me:

  1. Consolidates and starts bringing everything into one platform for me to have full optics on
  2. I DON’T HAVE TO PAY CAPITAL GAINS TAX WHEN I SELL THOSE SHARES OUT OF MY ISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I DON’T HAVE TO PAY CAPITAL GAINS TAX WHEN I SELL THOSE SHARES OUT OF MY ISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I DON’T HAVE TO PAY CAPITAL GAINS TAX WHEN I SELL THOSE SHARES OUT OF MY ISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I DON’T HAVE TO PAY CAPITAL GAINS TAX WHEN I SELL THOSE SHARES OUT OF MY ISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I listed point 2, four times why? Because

  1. I DON’T HAVE TO PAY CAPITAL GAINS TAX WHEN I SELL THOSE SHARES OUT OF MY ISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I’m messing around, but honestly no one tells you this stuff. NO ONE, it’s not clearly explained or mentioned at all to people.

To be honest

They do offer to open a separate ISA for you and they do explain the tax free thing but THEY do not explain that you are allowed to buy the shares at an option price and transfer them into a stocks and share ISA, or even sell the shares in the account and transfer that money into an existing cash ISA either. 

Why?

Because they don’t give a fucking fizzle about you, it’s not even that they want you to pay capital gains, they just don’t give a fuck.

It finally all feels real, I’m seriously going to quit in September!!!!
