Imagine that your loved one is face down on the floor handcuffed.
Now imagine someone that you don’t know starts to suffocate your loved one with a knee.
Imagine that there is an unbreakable glass between you and your loved one that physically and sonically stops you from interfering with this suffocation.
Imagine having to watch for 8 minutes and 46 seconds until your loved one passed away……
Nothing, nothing could make that pain go away, nothing could fill the emptiness something like that can bring of having to witness that.
Whatever anyones’ take is of what had happened in the aftermath of this horrible, needless death, nothing makes the act of what happened ok.
This police officer did this unjustifiable act to maybe send “a message” or to “teach these people a lesson”. The irony of this evil person act is he single handedly created a worldwide movement that is the actual opposite of his murderous, racist and violent intent.
Everyone will forget his name given time, but “the one infront of the gun lives forever..” and George Floyd will forever be remembered as the individual who hopefully brought significant change to the biased police brutality towards humans of black ethnicity, during a global pandemic.
Rest in peace George Floyd, I hope that your death isn’t in vein and some serious systematic change occurs in your country.
Have you seen some of these videos of what the police in the U.S.A have been doing to some of the protesters?
I have been moaning loads in my recent posts but when I see how people behave in that country it doesn’t half make you feel blessed.
For one access to healthcare in America is so fucked, who in their right mind knew this global pandemic was coming you should best believe it’s going to invalidate loads of policies and knock our police force all you want I would take the U.K police force over the American allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day.
Man I feel blessed to live in the U.K
