Hello EVERYBODY!!!!!

A very happy new year to you all! I hope everyone is safe including your families and loved ones too!

From the scenes at capitol, to the tragic death rate being seen here in the U.K with regards to Covid-19, there doesn’t seem to be much cause for cheer at the start of this year.

But as a famous line from a Christopher Nolan script states “ the night is darkest before dawn”, it was always going to get worse before it got better.

Is it weird that if this government actually concentrated more on saving lives, that the economy that they are so preciously trying to protect may have fared better?

Is it not ironic that we could have just experienced one hard recession, rather than the double dip recession that we may potentially be facing now?

For six whole months I WISHED that the stock market showed some correlation to the STAGGERING death rate that I witnessed with covid and I’m not afraid to say that initially I looked at it through the lens of financial gain.

Diabolic as it sounds, I think it’s even worse that there is no correlation at all.

Markets are driven by a number of factors, but the one factor that stands out the most is emotion.

The number one factor that drives markets down is fear.

How those from financial institutions don’t consider a daily death count of 4000 in the USA and 1004 in U.K not scary, is beyond me.

Also any tosser that wants to tell me that the virus is a lie, that we lose this many more people to Flu and pneumonia at this time of year. Just look at this:

THE ONS!

Not some bullshit pie chart from the Sun or Mirror, the ONS, if you don’t know don’t test!

What can I do about it? Not much.

Should I let it affect my mental state? Should I let it affect my behaviours or my character?

Absolutely not.

So let’s go again for 2021. Here are my three vows for the year.

  1. I am going to get my knee to 100% so that I can play and train and get a normally functioning body again.
  2. I’m going to fucking complete my data science course this year at the second time of trying!
  3. I’m going to get my net worth less than -100k.

On that note let’s do my net worth!…
